Urine Splatter Patterns

As an undergraduate research assistant, I am currently involved in several research projects pertaining to fluid dynamics. I recently traveled to Toronto, Canada, to present this poster at the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) Fluids Engineering Division Summer Meeting (FEDSM) as part of the Flow Visualization Contest.

Experimental Setup

I created these 3D models of our experimental setup on SolidWorks. I designed and constructed most of the prototypes and structures. I also automated the data collection and operated the cameras.

Reinventing the Urinal

I'm currently involved in a research project studying how different shaped objects affect droplet splatter with applications toward urinals. A patent and research paper is currently in progress. After everything is finalized, I will add more details below!

Travel Grant Proposal

I submitted this travel grant proposal to the Office of Undergraduate Research (OUR) at Weber State University in order to present this poster.

Travel Grant Awarded

I received this travel grant award confirmation letter.
