Computer-Aided Design (CAD)

I have a lot of experience in CAD! I've been using Solidworks professionally for 4 years, and I am currently learning Siemens NX, ANSYS, and Revit. I also have exposure to Inventor (high school robotics team). See some of the drawings and simulations I've done below! I've also used Solidworks extensively for my school projects.

Patent Figures

I've been doing some freelance CAD work for a rapid-prototyping/patent firm called Petrus Solutions for the last 4 years. I'm usually contracted out to model consumer product ideas in SolidWorks and create 2D drawings for use in patent applications. I've aided in the creation of 18 patents to date! Unfortunately, the patents I've done are sensitive to public viewing at this time, but please check out my GD&T and school projects!

GD&T

I took an elective course called Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T). The class was based in Solidworks, where I drafted detailed sketches of mechanical parts that could be machined by a manufacturer. Click the icon to the left to see some examples!

FEA

I am currently taking an elective course called Finite Element Analysis (FEA). The class is based in ANSYS and uses simulation software to calculate stresses, deformation, and safety factors in mechanical parts. Click the icon to the left to see some examples!
